A Senior Accountant (SAIPA) in Nelspruit is needed.

Our client seeks a Senior Accountant to support our Nelspruit team. This role requires a BCom qualification and completed SAIPA articles.

The Senior Accountant will manage financial record preparation, audit support, and client advisement. Ideal candidates bring solid accounting expertise, analytical skills, and a dedication to accuracy.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and review financial statements in line with standards.
Support audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
Perform general ledger reconciliations and manage month- and year-end closings.
Advise clients on financial practices and gather business insights.
Mentor junior staff and stay updated on accounting standards.

Qualifications:

BCom Degree and SAIPA articles completed.
Proficient in CaseWare, Pastel, and Excel.
Knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, VAT, and income tax.
Strong communication skills and multitasking ability.
