ENVIRONMENT:

A specialized firm in low-code automation and app development, utilizing Microsoft SharePoint and Power Platform, is seeking a Software Developer with a strong foundation in Microsoft Power Platform skills and experience. Based in Kloof, Durban, this dynamic, highly skilled team has a decade-long track record of successful project delivery for clients in South Africa and internationally. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in software development, computer science, or a related field (NQF Level 7) and be Microsoft Power Platform certified, with a minimum of PL-400 Power Platform Developer certification.

DUTIES:

• Designing, developing and implementing client solutions based on Microsoft SharePoint and Power Platform, including Power Automate, PowerApps and Power BI
• Peer-review, testing and documentation of client solutions
• Providing support for client solutions, including monitoring of the support desk, troubleshooting and resolving issues, communicating with clients
• Knowledge-sharing, mentoring and training of team members and clients
• Research and investigation into new technologies based on client needs or the company’s technology roadmap
• Continuous learning and development including obtaining further Microsoft certifications

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor Degree or Advanced Diploma in software development, computer science, or related field (NQF Level 7)
• Graduate with a relevant degree or diploma in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• Certified in Microsoft Power Platform.
• Microsoft Power Platform Certified (minimum PL-400 Power Platform Developer)
• Power Platform skills Power Automate
• Power Apps
• Power BI

• Programming Skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST
• Additional: C#, .NET, SQL will be advantageous

• SharePoint skills: Building modern sites, lists, libraries  Content types  Permissions management  Document management (including metadata design) SPFx

If you have experience in the below, this will be an added advantage:

• Azure DevOps
• PowerShell
