Employer: West Coast Personnel

The Factory Manager will manage various production activities and resources (manpower, machines, materials) of the factory through subordinates in order to achieve planned production targets, and in so doing ensuring that manufacturing meets the demand from sale.

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Qualification in Plastics technology or Injection Moulding (Advantageous)
6+ related experience with full factory management withing a manufacturing & fully automated environment
Excellent MS Office skills and manufacturing systems experience
Experience in terms of Injection Moulding and Extrusion would enhance your application
Exceptional Management Skills
Must be willing to work shift hours during peak times

Key Performance Indicators:

Ensure that production meets the demand from sale
Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement efforts
Coordinate and manage all manufacturing operations including safety, stock management, quality, process control, capital projects, production and mould maintenance (extrusion, injection moulding, assembly etc.)
Compliance with internal company policies, procedures, processes, and external regulation
Ability to supervise a high impact team and collaborate with different stakeholders
Building trusting relations and inspire relations amongst the internal and external stakeholders
Execute continuous improvement initiatives ensuring operational excellence
