Retail Food Store Manager

Responsibilities:
· Overall management of the store and staff including compliance
· Overseeing of service departments such as butchery, bakery and HMR (previous experience is a must)
· Investigate and correct slow-moving stock
· Waste, markdown and shrinkage analysis
· Manage store budgets
· Manager store promotions
· Achieve gross profit margins and targets
· Reduction of wastage
· Managing stock orders and stock
· Ensure a great customer experience

· Making sure F@V, Bakery, HMR and menu is up to standard, being followed and ensuring the quality
· Butchery up to standard and that range is in order and up to standard
· Ensure and Health and safety procedures are correct
· Customer liaison
· Customer request on specific items
· Training for new and old employees
· Floor walks in store
· Checking for expired stock on grocery floor as well as in departments
· Arranging and attending staff meetings as needed.
· Stock loss prevention
· Analysing sales reports and range.

· Opening & closing of business
· Managing and working out the shift roster for all employees
· Managing budget and ensuring business is not over spending
· Maintaining statistical and financial records
· Overseeing pricing and stock control.
