Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Platform Engineer (DevOps) to join their global team. The ideal candidate will excel in cloud architecture, automation, and the development of highly scalable, resilient, and secure platforms. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build, enhance, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect, develop, and maintain cloud infrastructure using tools such as AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
Design and manage CI/CD pipelines to support continuous software integration and deployment.
Implement robust monitoring and observability solutions using tools like Grafana, InfluxDB, and Elasticsearch.
Lead initiatives in automation to improve the efficiency of deployment processes.
Collaborate with software engineers and other teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure with development efforts.
Maintain a secure and high-performance environment for all cloud systems and applications.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical documentation and best practices.
Perform system troubleshooting, tuning, and capacity planning.

Technical Expertise:

Cloud Platforms: Extensive experience with AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, etc.), Kubernetes, and GCP.
Configuration Management & Automation: Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, and Pulumi.
Programming & Scripting: Advanced skills in Python, Bash, and Go.
Containerization & Orchestration: Mastery in Docker, Kubernetes, and Podman.
Monitoring & Observability Tools: Experience with Grafana, Elasticsearch, InfluxDB, Loki, and ClickHouse.
DevOps Practices: Strong expertise in building CI/CD pipelines, automation, and system reliability engineering (SRE).

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or a similar role.
Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, LPIC-3) are a plus.

Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
Strong mentoring and leadership skills.
Effective communication in both written and verbal English.
