• Develop the product strategy for the portfolio


• Conceptualise, innovate, and operationalise solutions that drive continuous improvement of product, systems, processes, procedures and best practice standardsBuying and negotiating around cost and selling price to attract customers


• Develop budget for the portfolio and effectively monitor and deliver on the financials


• Build an effective and professional relationship with internal and external stakeholders


• Work collaboratively within team of peers and other stakeholders

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification with a Supply Chain Management and/or Finance and/or Business Administration focus


• 5 years' experience of procurement or purchasing in building material industries


• Specialist knowledge of building material product portfolio


• Knowledge of pricing and sourcing strategies and methodologies


• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills


• Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting and management skills


• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Analytical and solution-focused


• Familiarity with procurement software and tools is a plus
