Job Vacancy: Electrical Engineer
Location: Cape Town

Responsibilities

• Conduct electrical engineering assessments and troubleshooting on client sites.
• Manage and oversee electrical systems and installations at quarrying and construction sites.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure the timely and efficient completion of electrical projects.
• Provide technical support and solutions for electrical-related challenges in the field.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with safety regulations and the Mine Health and Safety Act.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation related to electrical systems and projects.
• Provide guidance and support to junior engineers and field technicians when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed on-site.
• Travel to client sites as required and adapt to different work environments.

• BEng/BSc Degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar/relevant qualification).
• Previous experience working in a quarrying and construction site environment is highly preferred.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
• A valid driver’s license and own vehicle is an advantage.
• A valid passport is essential for site travel.
• Must be based in Cape Town or surrounding areas.
• Must be medically fit in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act.
• Clear criminal record is a must.
• Strong technical motivation and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
• Honest, reliable, and adaptable to changing circumstances.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficient in computer literacy, including MS Office and relevant engineering software.
