Calling all cost-savvy Accountants with a passion for manufacturing to apply for this exciting new opportunity. One of my clients, a prominent FMCG company, is looking for a Factory Cost Accountant to join their team and play a pivotal role in driving financial efficiency within the production environment. This role is ideal for an analytical professional who enjoys working closely with factory operations to improve cost management and drive profitability.

My client is a leading conglomerate in the fast moving consumer goods industry and they are renowned for their diverse portfolio of household name brands. The company has a high commitment to innovation and sustainability, and they are continuously investing in local manufacturing and community development.

As the Factory Cost Accountant, you would be responsible for monitoring and managing all factory related costs, analysing the variances between budget and actual spend, collaborating with different departments within the business to discuss budgets, forecasts and variances. You will also be responsible for conducting regular audits and maintain accuracy in inventory, labour and overhead allocations.

Job Skills and Requirements:

Completed CIMA qualification or in progress
Degree in Accounting or related field
3+ years' experience in factory based costing
Experience implementing ERP systems and deep understanding of manufacturing process
