We are seeking a talented and experienced Environmental Scientist to join our client in Cape Town. As an Environmental Scientist, you will play a crucial role in conducting environmental assessments, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• BSc (Hons) in Environmental Management/Sciences or similar
• EAPASA registration
• Minimum of 5 years of post-graduate environmental consulting experience
• Experience in Basic Assessments, EIAs, and environmental authorization processes
• Strong understanding of NEMA, NEM:WA, MPRDA, NEM:AQA, and NWA

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake environmental screening and impact assessments
• Prepare comprehensive environmental reports
• Compile tenders and proposals
• Facilitate public participation processes
• Conduct environmental audits
• Ensure quality control of deliverables
• Contribute to other sustainability projects as needed
