This globally entity in the mining and manufacturing space is looking for a Technical Accountant to join their dynamic team. Responsibilities:

• Prepare tax provisions, forecasts, and reconciliations.
• Manage IFRIC23 updates and audits.
• Ensure timely tax returns and audits.
• Optimize tax processes and apply law changes.
• Analyze and advise on tax improvements.
• Mitigate tax risks and draft tax papers.
• Collaborate with tax teams and stakeholders.
• Provide tax training.
• Oversee team performance and development.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• SAIT accreditation is preferred
• Bcom Hons in Taxation is highly beneficial.
• 8 to 10 years post article experience in the commercial industry
• 3-5 years managerial experience is essential
• Manufacturing, FMCG and construction industry experience is preferred
• Previous experience with consolidations is advantageous
