Hoofverantwoordelikhede:
Die Rekenmeester sal verantwoordelik wees vir die bestuur van 'n portefeulje van verskeie kliente. Die verantwoordelikhede sluit die volgende in:
- Maandlikse Boekhouding en Rekeningkundige dienste
Maandlikse boekhou en prosessering van bank, debiteure en krediteure
Inkomste fakturering namens kliente
Oorsig en nagaan van kontrole rekeninge rekons, vaste bate registers, debiteure en krediteure, eksterne lenings
Opstel, nagaan en basiese interpretasie van bestuurs state aan kliente
Salaris prosessering en onderhoud van kliente se werknemer inligting/veranderinge
- Belasting Dienste
Periodieke belasting dienste - BTW recons en BTW 201 opgawes, EMP 201's,EMP501's
Voorlopige en Inkomste belasting berekeninge en opgawes indien van Individue, Maatskappye, Trusts
SARS administratiewe take en kommunikasie
- Statutêre Dienste
Opstel van statutêre jaarlikse finansiele state
CIPC jaarlikse opgawes en beneficial ownerships
- Kliente Ondersteuning
Daaglikse kommunikasie en verhoudings bou met kliente
Ondersteuning op rekeningkundige en besigheids sagteware wat gebruik word (Xero, DEXT, Pay Space)
Aktiewe deelname aan die verbeteringe van boekhou en inligtingstelsesl en prosesse
Minimum Vereistes:
- Kwalifikasie: BCom Rek of soortgelyke kwalifikasie.
- Ervaring: Minimum van 2 jaar werkservaring in 'n rekeningkundige en belastingomgewing.
Benodigde Vaardighede en Eienskappe:
- Innoverend en selfstandig: Moet onafhanklik en met inisiatief kan werk.
- Goeie kliënteverhoudinge: Empatie, geduld, en verhoudingsgeoriënteerde benadering tot kliente.
- Georganiseerd en roetine-gedrewe: Akkurate, georganiseerde werkswyse om werk op datum en foutloos te hou.
Kort- en Langtermyn Doelwitte:
- Korttermyn: Bemeester die omvattende dienste vir kliente en stel prosesse en stelsels in plek om kliente se rekeningkundige en belastingrekords akkuraat en volledig te hou.
- Langtermyn: Brei uit na Finansiële Bestuurs- en besigheid-/belastingadviesdienste. Oorweeg 'n bestuursrol oor 'n span rekenmeesters en kliente.

Key Responsibilities:
The Accountant will be responsible for managing a portfolio of various clients. Responsibilities include:
- Monthly Bookkeeping and Accounting Services
- Monthly bookkeeping, including processing of bank accounts, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Income invoicing on behalf of clients.
- Reviewing and reconciling control accounts, maintaining fixed asset registers, monitoring accounts receivable and payable, and managing external loans.
- Preparing, reviewing, and providing basic interpretation of management accounts to clients.
- Processing payroll and maintaining client employee information/changes.
- Tax Services
- Periodic tax services, including VAT reconciliations and VAT 201 submissions, EMP 201 and EMP501 submissions.
- Calculating and filing provisional and income tax returns for individuals, companies, and trusts.
- Handling SARS administrative tasks and communications.
- Statutory Services
- Preparation of annual statutory financial statements.
- CIPC annual filings and verification of beneficial ownership.
- Client Support
- Daily communication and relationship-building with clients.
- Providing support for accounting and business software used (Xero, DEXT, Pay Space).
- Actively participating in improvements to bookkeeping and information systems and processes.
Minimum Requirements:
- Qualification: BCom in Accounting or similar qualification.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of work experience in an accounting and tax environment.

- Long-Term: Expand into Financial Management and business/tax advisory services. Consider a management role overseeing a team of accountants and clients.

- This is a remote position; readiness to occasionally travel to clients or head office if needed.
