Our client, a global logistics company, is recruiting for a forward-thinking Azure Engineer (PaaS) to join their dynamic team.

Azure Engineer (PaaS)
In Office, Kempton Park

Requirements:

Over 5 years of experience in roles such as Platform Engineer, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or Back-end Engineer.
More than 3 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
3+ years of experience managing Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines using Azure DevOps and related Azure tools.
Strong proficiency with infrastructure as code tools, including ARM templates, Terraform, and Ansible.
Skilled in creating production-quality bash scripts.
Knowledgeable in FinOps and service plan optimization.

KPA’s:

Builds, operates, and supports a highly available platform with a security-first approach, aligned with industry standards
Actively keeps up with new cloud services and cost-efficient solutions
Develops and manages infrastructure using tools like ARM, Terraform, and Ansible
Integrates logging and monitoring systems to maintain seamless platform operations
Defines and manages service-level metrics such as SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs using comprehensive logging and monitoring tools
Handles incidents and outages, restoring services and conducting thorough post-incident analysis
Oversees FinOps and capacity planning to enhance scalability and cost-effectiveness
Continuously improves recipes, scripts, and templates for reproducible deployments
Demonstrates expertise in secure infrastructure, networking, and data lifecycle management
Deploys and manages containerized applications, using CI/CD pipelines to support development workflows
Collaborates effectively with development and QA teams
Works with team members to address performance issues and infrastructure-related challenges
Contributes to the ongoing evolution of the technical architecture
