Candidate Requirements

This role calls for a proactive leader with experience in driving both operational excellence and business growth in the manufacturing and heavy engineering sectors. You will be responsible for managing production efficiency and quality, while also leveraging your commercial expertise to support the sales function by aligning production capabilities with market demands.

In this position, you’ll play a pivotal role in identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities, working closely with sales teams to ensure that manufacturing processes are tailored to meet client expectations. Your strategic insights will be crucial in creating seamless workflows and delivering products on time and within budget, while fostering strong client relationships.

Ideal candidates have a background in heavy engineering or fabrication, combined with experience in managing production teams and supporting sales initiatives.

We are looking for candidates with a Mechanical or Industrial Engineering qualification, and at least 5 years of management experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Proficiency in ERP systems, PowerBI, and advanced Excel skills will be advantageous. Essential skills include exceptional communication, critical thinking, negotiation, and conflict management abilities. The ideal candidate is motivated, detail-oriented, and willing to go the extra mile to achieve excellence.
