National group are seeking an experienced Assistant Stores Controller to receive, distribute and account for goods and materials effectively and efficiently in compliance with company policies, procedures and codes of conduct.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assisting stores controller in maintaining stock according to required level.
2. Updating Syspro accurately according to receiving of stock and non- stock.
3. Undertake stores administration.
4. Ensure compliance with the stores and safety procedures.
5. Comply with the requirements of ISO and Quality Management Systems.
Required Skills
- Syspro: 1 to 2 years
- Stores Controller: 1 to 2 years
- Qms: 1 to 2 years
Candidate Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
1. Grade 12.
2. 2 years experience in stores control.
3. Computer literate in Microsoft 365 suite.
4. Ability to communicate in English competently.
5. Experience on working with Syspro would be advantageous.
6. Unendorsed Code 08/B driver’s license would be advantageous.
KEY ATTRIBUTES
1. Ability to work with figures for financial purposes.
2. General understanding of business practices.
3. Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety Act.
4. Ability to communicate effectively, maintain organisational procedures and quality/safety standards in job-related activities.
5. Good interpersonal relationship and communication skills.
