Hire Resolve's client is seeking an accomplished Engineering Manager to lead a dynamic team in the mining industry, in the Northern Cape. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing engineering activities within the mining operations, enhancing operational performance while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the engineering team to meet operational objectives and targets.
• Develop strategic initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.
• Ensure compliance with industry safety and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in engineering practices.
• Oversee the management of engineering projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
• Mentor and develop engineering staff to enhance skills and capabilities.
• Monitor and analyze engineering performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  

Requirements:

• Grade 12.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• GCC Mines and Works certification.
• 8 years' experience within the mining industry, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Valid Driver's License.
