EC Security is seeking experienced female Control Room Operators to join our fast-growing team in Pretoria. If you meet the minimum requirements below, please forward your most recent CV, along with copies of all certifications and a copy of your ID.
Overall, purpose of the position is to ensure all site-specific security requirements are met and the Client’s needs are addressed efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Focus on and monitor site activities using surveillance systems.
- Monitor and report alarm activations.
- Liaise with response officers and managers.
- Identify and report suspicious behaviours and activities immediately.
- Record and update all communications with client response officers.
- Ensure client profiles are updated on the system as needed.
- Maintain effective written and verbal communication.
Candidate Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Professional and well-presented individual, as this role is client-facing and based on-site.
- Valid PSIRA Grading (A/B/C).
- Proficient in MS Office, and other security-related systems.
- Proven experience with CCTV systems (mandatory).
- Ability to work under pressure and for extended hours when required.
- Willingness to work shifts.
- Ability to work independently and responsibly.
- Minimum of 2 years in the security industry, control room, or call centre environment.
- Fluent in English.
- Clean criminal record (no pending cases).
- Reliability, trustworthiness, and a high level of integrity.
- 3 contactable references.
- Strong discipline and accountability.
