Hire Resolve is excited to announce an opportunity for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join a well-established company based in Pretoria. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a variety of diesel-powered equipment and vehicles.

As a Diesel Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective operation of machinery, contributing directly to the productivity and safety of the work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on diesel-powered equipment and vehicles.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently.
• MUST have worked on Forklifts, Trucks and Cars. non-negotiable
• Replace or repair faulty parts and components.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance work performed.
• Ensure all work is performed according to safety protocols and regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency.

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• Trade Test Certificate in Diesel Mechanics.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in diesel mechanics, preferably within the construction/automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines and components.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license.
