Hire Resolve's client, a prominent player in the Foam Manufacturing industry, is looking for a knowledgeable and results-driven Production Manager to join their team in Cape Town. This role is crucial for ensuring streamlined production processes, maintaining high quality standards, and meeting customer demands effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily production operations and manage a team of production staff.
• Develop and implement production schedules to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to foster a safe working environment.
• Monitor production processes and make necessary adjustments to meet quality and efficiency targets.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to maintain product quality and resolve any quality-related issues.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes.
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for the timely supply of materials.
• Prepare and analyze production reports to identify trends and make informed decisions.
• Train, mentor, and motivate production staff to achieve production goals.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing industry, in chemical/foam manufacturing.
• Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, and management.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards.
• Proficient in MS Office and production management software.
