Electronic engineer/ technologist required to take responsibility for electronic equipment. The responsible person will work with personnel to assist in the design development and testing ofÂ Geographical information equipment. The main focus will be to improve older electronic equipment and do design on new equipment.

Specialized company that is involved in electronic equipment for geographical information gathering and related Electronic Equipment designs.

Our client is looking for qualified engineer/ Technologist with solid electronic skills, and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.Â The main responsibilities will entail R&D of hardware and software equipment design and PCB layouts and design of Geophysical equipment.

The company is not only a leader in this field but also one of the few companies in the world with solid long-term contracts in the Mining and international aviation field.Â

Qualifications:

Tertiary qualification in electronic engineering (Degree or Diploma)

Â
Will gain experience in the following:

Solid PCB circuit planning and development experience
Solid fault finding and circuit analysis experience (High and Low current)
Good programming experience (MATLAB & LabVIEW is a bonus)
Geophysical equipment design.
