Our client, a leading Fintech company, is recruiting for a motivated and experienced Data Analyst to join their dynamic team, to provide ongoing reports that will aid in decision-making and strategy formulation.

Data Analyst
Rosebank, in-office

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in data science, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or relevant field
Advanced Degree or certification in data analysis or finance is advantageous

Requirements:

At least 3-5 years' experience in data analysis, preferably in the finance industry.
Proficient in data analysis tools and software including SQL, Python, R, and advanced Excel.
Experienced with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
Exposure to financial databases and platforms.

KPA’s:

Gather, clean, and structure data from multiple sources, ensuring its accuracy and integrity.
Maintain and update databases and data systems for optimal performance.
Conduct in-depth analyses of financial data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within large datasets.
Create and maintain detailed dashboards and reports to present findings effectively to stakeholders.
Partner with the finance team to understand data requirements and deliver data-driven insights.
Work with IT and other departments to develop and implement data-centric solutions.
Suggest and implement process enhancements and efficiency measures.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in data analysis.
