Description:
Hire Resolve's client is currently looking for a Mine Manager to be based in the Northern Cape, where you will oversee the operations of their esteemed mining company. As the Mine Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the mine operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of mining operations, ensuring optimal production and safety standards.
• Develop and implement mining plans and strategies to achieve operational goals.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards.
• Monitor financial performance, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Lead and mentor a team of mining professionals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize mining processes and resolve operational issues.
• Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to maintain a safe working environment.
  

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering.
• Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency.
• Opencast Blasting Certificate.
• 10 years' experience in opencast mining, with a minimum of 3 years as a Mine Manager.
• Strong knowledge of mining regulations and safety standards.
