Our client is seeking a hands-on Stores Manager to oversee all aspects of their inventory and logistics at their prestigious 5-star hotel in Polokwane. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food and beverage management, ensuring efficient stock control and exceptional service standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage stock control and purchasing of all food and beverage items, equipment, smalls, maintenance, and other requests
• Oversee the control and management of hotel vehicles
• Ensure smooth operations of all store functions
• Allocate staff for requisitions, issuing, bulk preparation, and portioning
• Maintain store cleanliness and implement effective stock rotation
• Train and develop staff to enhance operational efficiency
• Manage personnel effectively to foster a productive work environment

Requirements:

• Matric certificate
• Hospitality Degree/Diploma (advantageous)
• Extensive knowledge of food and beverage items
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a management position
• Previous experience in store management or logistics management
• Familiarity with Micros System or other stock management systems is preferable
