As Contracts Manager you are responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of contracts related to facilities, safety, security and property projects. This includes evaluating and defining contract needs, managing procurement and tender processes, managing budgets, ensuring legal and HSE compliance, monitoring service provider performance and verifying service delivery against contract terms
Your Duties and Responsibilities...
Contract Development and Negotiation
- Draft, review, and negotiate service level agreements (SLAs)/contracts with Service Providers in the areas of facilities, safety, security and property projects.
- Collaborate with legal, procurement and other relevant teams to finalize contract terms.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in contract management.
Vendor Management
- Identify and evaluate potential vendors.
- Manage relationships with existing vendors, ensuring compliance with contract terms.
- Ensure that the provision of goods and services is planned, aligned and executed.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and address any issues or disputes.
Budget and Cost Control
- Monitor and manage the budget related to service and supply contracts.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce expenses.
- Ensure all expenditures are within approved budget limits.
- Maintain accurate records of all contracts and related documentation.
- Prepare regular reports on contract status, performance, and compliance.
- Provide updates to senior management on key contract issues and developments.

- Experience in successfully managing multiple contracts and vendors, ideally in a facilities environment.
- Strong negotiation skills tied with a keen business acumen to extract the best value for the company.
- Analytical ability, attention to detail and clear reporting and communication skills.
- Impeccable integrity in managing the resources of the company.
We’d love you to have…
- A relevant tertiary qualification
- An in-depth understanding of legal and commercial aspects of contracts and service level agreements.
- Knowledge of the relevant software tools/platforms (Microsoft Excel, Smartsheet, d365)
