JOB DECRIPTION:
- Expanding business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry, researching and analysing the sales opportunity.
- Identifying and engaging with new customers via networking, cold calling, emailing and other lead generation techniques. Utilising several tools such as ZoomInfo, Salesforce, Outreach and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Sell the Company's products and services by establishing contact, developing relationships and recommending tailor made solutions with new prospects.
- Develop proposals to meet clients’ and businesses’ goals including budgets and timelines.
- Maintains relationships with ongoing prospects by providing support, information and guidance; researching and recommending relevant new opportunities; and recommending profit and service improvements.
- Pipeline management for reporting purposes and productivity analysis.
- Mentoring and guiding Business Development Executive (meeting booker) in developing prospecting strategy. Answering technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members.
- Comfortable setting and meeting sales revenue targets and KPIs set by management.
- Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
- Responsible for own pipeline and for full life cycle of the sales process, from prospecting to close.
Required skills, knowledge and competencies:
- Strong communication skills – including speaking and writing.
- Ability to negotiate and collaborate effectively
- A persuasive manner
- Strong organisation and time-management skills
- Self-motivated and drive to pursue targets
- Persistent and able to follow-up consistently using various mediums
- Resilient, ability to withstand rejection and stay calm under pressure.
- Some form of Sales methodology training.
Desired Experience:
- Fluent German speaker
- Satisfactory High School and/or University Results
- At least 3 years of previous sales experience with demonstrable results
- Cold calling experience is a prerequisite.
