Hire Resolve is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Representative to join our client's retail team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for driving sales, building customer relationships, and promoting our client's products in a competitive retail environment. This is an exciting opportunity for those who are passionate about sales and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Call on existing and potential new customers in Cape Town central, southern suburbs, and the west coast region, requiring travel
• Ensure orders are taken at store level and sent to the admin office
• Confirm orders are delivered by the delivery team and address all customer service queries
• Assist the admin office with account feedback from clients
• Help with merchandising stock in stores
• Support store promotional days, which may occur on weekends
• Respond to customer emails and queries
• Conduct telesales as needed
• Provide customers with product knowledge
• Assist the sales teams in developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies, plans, and campaigns
• Maintain and update sales leads, customer information, and other relevant data to support the sales team
• Send daily reports to the sales director and branch manager, detailing observations from the field

• Sales representative experience required
• Experience in selling to Checkers, PnP, Shoprite, Makro, Spar and other retail outlets are ESSENTIAL
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Valid drivers’ licence Code B
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to think critically
• A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Familiarity with the industry and a passion for staying current with industry trends and best practices
• Previous pet industry experience will be beneficial
• Previous Skynamo use will be beneficial
