My client is a pharmaceutical manufacturer listed on the JSE that is involved in the production and marketing of healthcare products across South Africa.

The prosperous incumbent will report to the Finance Manager and will be responsible for developing and overseeing financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making. Prepare and present accurate financial reports to senior management, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Monitor cash flow and implement strategies to optimize working capital and liquidity. Analyze costs and identify areas for cost reduction while maintaining operational efficiency. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, to provide financial insights and address inquiries. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that inform business strategies and initiatives. Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering professional development and ensuring high performance. Assess the financial implications of new projects or investments and provide recommendations based on thorough analysis. 

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• CA(SA) 
• 4+ years post-articles experience
• 2+ years managerial experience 
• Exposure to reporting in a listed environment
