A well-known insurer is seeking a dynamic Data Analyst with strong business analysis skills to join their team! This company has over 30 years of experience and wants to add more value to their amazing analytics team!

In this role you will be required to not only analyse data but bridge the gap between insights and strategic business decisions, ensuring that their company remains a leader within the insurance industry.

Duties:

Business Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders across departments to understand business needs, translate them into data requirements, and ensure alignment with company objectives.
Data Model Design: Create and maintain robust data models and databases to support business operations.
Data Visualization: Utilize data visualization tools to present complex data in a clear and digestible format for business users.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with data engineers, IT teams, and business leaders to ensure data quality, integration, and accessibility for effective decision-making.
Database Management: Oversee and work with databases such as MS SQL and MySQL to support data analysis and storage requirements.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:
- BSC- Maths, Stats, Economics, Business studies
Experience:
- 3 years’ experience in data analysis and business insights
- Experience with Power BI for data visualization is required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
