Fruit / FMCG Buyer Our client a Supply Chain Management Company is looking for an outgoing Fruit / FMCG Buyer with strong negotiating skills and good with building relationships.

Job Description: Buyer needs to have experience in procurement and purchasing with FMCG & Fruits.

Responsibilities

Source and purchase Products, Fruits, and FMCG required for exports to African countries
Negotiate prices and contracts with suppliers
Work closely with Logistics managers and other team members to ensure materials are ordered and delivered on time
Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market conditions to ensure best prices are achieved for the customers
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred
Proven experience as a Buyer in the fruit/export industry 5 – 10 years
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Knowledge of export procedures for Fruit & FMCG products
Needs to be good in Excel and ERP system (SAP Business One)
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Excellent organizational and time management skills
