Are you a seasoned Engineer or Technologist with a passion for water and sanitation? My client is looking for you to join their dynamic team and contribute your expertise to critical infrastructure projects. As a Senior Engineer / Technologist, you will lead and manage a team, design water and sanitation systems, conduct hydrological investigations, prepare tenders and contracts, monitor construction, and ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of engineers, technologists, and technicians.

·        Design Expertise: Design water and sanitation systems, including pump stations, water reticulation, sewer reticulation, bulk pipelines, canals, and stormwater management.

·        Hydrological Investigations: Conduct hydrological investigations, reports, and determine flood lines.

·        Project Management: Manage projects from planning and design through implementation and close-out.

·        Tendering and Contracts: Prepare tenders and contracts, including detailed specifications, special conditions, and bills of quantities.

Requirements:

·        BSc/BTech in Civil Engineering

·        Pr Eng/ Pr Tech Eng.

·        5-10 years of experience in water and sanitation projects, with a focus on detailed design and team leadership.

·        Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, iDAS, HEC-RAS, EPANET, Pipe2000, and WaterCAD. Knowledge of AcrGIS, StormCAD, WADISO, and Sanitary Analysis (SSA) is advantageous.

·        Experience in managing projects through all stages, including planning, design, tendering, implementation, and close-out.

·        Experience in preparing tenders and contracts, including detailed specifications, special conditions, and bills of quantities.
