Our engineering client is a leading Construction company specialising in construction materials. We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Technical Sales Representative to join this dynamic sales team.

As a Technical Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving our business growth and revenue generation. You will combine your technical expertise with exceptional sales skills to effectively communicate the value of our products/services to potential clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Customer Relationship Building:
  • Identify and target potential clients in the Construction industry.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Understand clients' needs and offer tailored solutions that align with their requirements.
• Product Knowledge:
  • Develop a deep understanding of our products/services and their technical features.
  • Articulate complex technical information in a clear and compelling manner to clients.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to stay updated on product developments and enhancements.
• Sales Strategy:
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and demonstrations.
• Solution Consultation:
  • Act as a consultant to clients, offering expert advice on how our products/services can address their challenges.
  • Recommend appropriate solutions and up-sell/cross-sell opportunities based on client needs.
• Proposal and Contract Management:
  • Prepare detailed proposals, quotes, and contracts for potential clients.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions to close sales while ensuring mutual satisfaction.
• Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
  • Provide regular sales reports and updates to the Sales Manager.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Proven track record in technical sales or a related role.
• Strong technical acumen and the ability to understand complex products/services.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Results-driven with a passion for exceeding targets.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
