A well-established Restaurant & Lounge based in Umhlanga (Durban) is now hiring a qualified and experienced Front of House Supervisor. The incumbent will be joining a diverse team of experienced and skilled personnel in the restaurant environment.

Summary of Role:

• The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the front-of-house team, including scheduling shifts, training new employees, and conducting performance evaluations.
• Addressing any operational issues that arise during service such as customer inquiries, complaints, staffing shortages or equipment malfunctions.
• Overseeing cash registers, processing payments, and ensuring accurate financial transactions.
• Monitoring stock levels of supplies (like menus, utensils, and cleaning products) and placing orders when necessary.
• Maintaining safety and food quality standards

Desired Experience and Qualification

• Post Matric Qualification in hospitality, Business Management or Related Field.
• Min. 5 years’ work experience (3 years must be in a supervisor role).
• Food and beverage (F&B) knowledge.
• Planning and Organisational Skills.
• Leadership and Management Skills.
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations
