We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Technician to join our esteemed team. This pivotal role involves the servicing, troubleshooting, and repair of CNC router machines at client locations. When not engaged in fieldwork, the technician will contribute to manufacturing and operational activities within our workshop. A robust understanding of CNC machine operation and programming is essential, as this position supports the entire lifecycle of machine production and client servicing. Occasional national travel will be required to fulfill client commitments across South Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert service and repair of CNC router machines at customer sites.
• Conduct routine maintenance and comprehensive inspections of machinery.
• Effectively troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
• Assist with manufacturing operations within the workshop during non-field periods.
• Operate CNC machines as part of the manufacturing process.
• Deliver training and technical support to customers, ensuring optimal machine performance.
• Prepare detailed service reports and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Communicate proficiently with both the technical team and customers to ensure clarity and efficiency.
• Organize and manage a structured schedule to optimize time and resources.
• Undertake occasional travel to client sites across South Africa as necessary.
