Vacancy Details

Co-ordinating development project phases; Ensuring all administration around each project is done; Formulate and manufacture Pilot plant recipes and trials; Manage and direct work on delegated projects; Co-ordinate the manufacturing of production trials and outcomes;

Sustain a safe working environment & adhere to safety policy; Provide Technical information and project progress reports; Accurate administration and record keeping;

Assisting in the XPE(Cross Linking close cell) production with problem solving;

Full Property Testing of newly developed products

Note, This position vacancy is in Parow Industria, Western Cape.

Required Skills

Plastics Engineering: 3 to 4 years
Plastics Industry: 3 to 4 years
Product R&D: 3 to 4 years

Candidate Requirements

Analytical Chemistry/and or Plastics Polymer qualification

Preferable, prior Plastics/Polymer knowledge; MS Office packages i.e. Excel, MS Word; Essential that applicants are able to apply your understanding capabilities in plastic foam manufacturing in Production. Familiar with problem solving process. Ability to read & interpret technical specifications & material safety data sheets.

Product training and application will be provided.
