Our client is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant, based in Johannesburg North, with specialized expertise in VAT and foreign exchange management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong command of multi-currency transaction reporting and blending regulatory acumen with strategic financial oversight.

This Johannesburg-based company provides financial and advisory services aimed at optimizing the financial performance of its clients. It specializes in tax strategy, transaction advice, and financial structuring to enhance business value both locally and internationally. Additionally, it offers support for finance departments, including reconciling accounts, assessing control risks, and creating financial statements. Key services also include outsourced CFO functions, audit preparation, and financial planning tailored to complex transactions. Their team is focused on ensuring that clients see measurable financial returns, addressing unique financial challenges, and providing strategic guidance to identify growth opportunities in various business sectors

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Skilled in South African tax regulations to ensure compliance and optimize tax outcomes
Expertise in VAT processes for accurate compliance and reporting
Experienced in multi-currency transactions and mitigating forex risks
Advanced user of CaseWare for streamlined reporting and audits
Proficient in SARS eFiling for accurate submissions and tax inquiries resolution

Qualifications:

BCom in Finance
Experience in Financial Services
Minimum 4 years' experience
