Hire Resolve's client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Storeroom Manager to oversee all aspects of inventory management in their food production facility in the Western Cape. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a proven track record of effectively managing a storeroom in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely and accurate replenishment of stock
• Oversee receiving, storing, and issuing of all materials and supplies
• Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to minimize waste and ensure efficient use of resources
• Coordinate with purchasing and production teams to fulfill orders and maintain proper stock levels
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the storeroom area
• Supervise and train storeroom staff to ensure high levels of productivity and accuracy
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods

Requirements:

• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or similar
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in the food production industry
• Strong understanding of inventory management practices and procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and inventory management software
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
