My client, a key player in the logistics and transport sector, is looking for an experienced Transport Manager to oversee their fleet operations and ensure the smooth and efficient transport of goods. Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily transport operations, including route planning, fleet management, and driver supervision.
Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods, while maintaining high safety and compliance standards.
Oversee vehicle maintenance schedules, ensuring that all vehicles meet legal and operational requirements.
Monitor and manage transport costs, optimizing routes and resources to reduce expenses.
Work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure satisfaction and seamless service delivery.
Stay updated on transport regulations and ensure company compliance with all legal standards.

Requirements:

Minimum 8 to 10 years experience in transport management or similar logistics role
Strong knowledge of fleet management and transport regulations.
Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to analyze data, manage budgets, and develop cost-saving strategies.
Proficiency with transport management systems and relevant software.
