Candidate Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: B.Comm Accounting or similar degree/diploma
• Experience: 3-4 years in an accounting/audit environment
• Technical Skills: IFRS knowledge, Pastel Partner, Excel (non-negotiable)
• Bonus: Knowledge of the insurance industry

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records
• Process cashbooks, journals, and reconcile supplier and customer accounts
• Prepare VAT returns, month-end journals, and capture EFT payments
• Manage the fixed asset register and calculate depreciation
• Handle SARS submissions (EMP201, IRP6)
• Liaise with auditors and assist with audit preparation
• Perform ad-hoc financial tasks as required
