This role is based in Bryanston, Johannesburg North.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee accounts payable (AP) operations, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, supplier reconciliations, and prompt payments for both operational and capital expenditures (CAPEX/OPEX).
Manage vendor processes in line with the Schedule of Authority, focusing on workflow, procurement, and process automation.
Lead the accounts receivable (AR) functions, ensuring accurate reconciliation of sales and banking transactions for restaurants, including franchise billing.
Manage the collection of weekly sales data from franchisees.
Handle AR collections, ensuring adherence to company policies and minimizing financial losses related to AP processes.
Generate financial reports to aid in management decision-making and risk mitigation.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize AP and AR processes, including automation and reporting enhancements.
Collaborate with various departments to meet financial control objectives set by management.

Qualifications and Experience:

BCom in Accounting/Finance qualification is required.
At least 4 years of commercial experience.
Background in the FMCG or Retail sectors is preferred.
