An established US based online tutoring company specializing in math and English education providing high-quality, personalized education to students across various grades is looking for a Remote Operations Assistant to join and support their team.
This fully remote role is open to applicants living in South Africa. The position involves assisting with various administrative, finance and operational tasks to ensure smooth operations, you will essentially be the Directors 2IC.
This position offers flexibility, a range of responsibilities, and the chance to be part of a dynamic and growing online education company.
Minimum Requirements:
A minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience in administration, customer service, or operations support role
Strong organizational and communication skills
Excellent command of the English Language (written and verbal)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
Experience in managing social media platforms
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Comfortable with remote work, must have a fully functional office to work from and able to manage time effectively
Availability to work Monday to Friday from 18:00 pm to 02:00 am (SA time)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of qualified teachers
Facilitate onboarding for new employees, providing orientation materials and training sessions
Provide ongoing support for teachers, including creating instructional materials such as manuals and videos covering essential teaching practices and platform usage
Develop customer process guides and create explainer videos to enhance the user experience with applications
Assist with payroll processing and maintain accurate employee records
Manage customer service inquiries and provide support as needed
Handle administrative tasks, including scheduling and communication
Oversee and create content for the company's social media platforms
Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to operations
Collaborate with the management team to improve and streamline processes
Assist the Director and team with any other tasks or projects that may arise, contributing to the overall success of the company's operations
