Purpose of the job

Design of bridges or similar related structural engineering design

Key Performance Areas

• Design of bridges or similar related structural engineering design
• Contract administration, including the preparation of Contract Documentation, specifications and schedules of quantities.
• Manage the design process of projects.
• Manage and ensure complete quality assurance adherence.
• Successful invoicing and collection of fees.
• Ensure that project budgets are adhered to.
• Lead small teams effectively.
• Preparation of proposals.
• Report writing as required.
• Feasibility studies as required by Project Directors.

Job Requirements

• BSc (Civil Engineering)
• BTech (Civil/Structural Engineering)
• Pr Eng or Pr Tech (ECSA)
• Certified Project Leader

Experience

• 8-10 years experience in bridge or similar related structural engineering design
• Computer literate
