Hire Resolve is urgently seeking a motivated Industrial Engineer to join our client's team in Kempton Park.

The Industrial Engineer will improve warehouse operations by creating and implementing better systems. The goal is to boost productivity, lower costs, and make the warehouse more efficient. This role involves working with different teams to find and apply improvements that support the company’s goals.

Responsibilities 

Process Improvement:

• Analyze warehouse tasks (like receiving, storage, and shipping) to find inefficiencies.
• Create and implement better workflows and layouts to enhance productivity and cut costs.
• Conduct studies to assess labor efficiency and suggest improvements.

Facility Layout:

• Design warehouse layouts to use space effectively and improve safety.
• Work with the facilities team to upgrade warehouse infrastructure.

Data Analysis:

• Gather and analyze data on warehouse performance (like order accuracy and productivity).
• Maintain reports and dashboards to track key metrics.
• Use statistical methods to predict demand and plan inventory.

Inventory Management:

• Work with inventory teams to ensure accurate stock levels and reduce excess inventory.
• Implement systems to improve inventory accuracy and reduce costs.

Labor Management:

• Set productivity standards to optimize workforce use.
• Collaborate with HR to plan staffing based on expected workload.

Continuous Improvement:

• Lead initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Train staff on new processes and technologies.

Technology Integration:

• Recommend warehouse management systems and automation tools to improve operations.
• Help implement new technologies in the warehouse.

Health and Safety:

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations in all process improvements.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards.

Project Management:

• Lead projects focused on warehouse optimization, managing timelines and resources.
• Work with teams to ensure projects meet business goals.
