Job Title: Senior Technical Short-Term Specialist: Product

Responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert on technical product and advice-related matters.
- Manage the large case review process, present findings to senior management, and continuously improve the process.
- Provide technical support to advisers on complex product and advice-related queries.
- Collaborate with product providers to maintain competitive product offerings.
- Work with cross-functional teams on strategic distribution projects.
- Conduct product and product provider due diligence in collaboration with internal teams.
- Draft and review communications for marketing and advisory purposes.
- Facilitate technical training for the Adviser Development Programme.
- Provide ongoing technical advisory support to advisers and distribution teams.
- Contribute to relevant committees focused on technical advisory and distribution activities.
Candidate Requirements
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- NQF5 qualification or relevant short-term insurance qualification.
- 7+ years' experience in personal and commercial lines within the short-term insurance industry.
- Exposure to underwriting and claims processes.
- Experience working at EXCO or senior management level.
- Experience collaborating directly with financial advisers.
