BASIC SALARY : R25 000.00 – R35 000.00 (depending on experience)

REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric
- Certificate/Diploma in Bookkeeping or Financial Accounting is essential
- 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role within legal or professional services
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial accounting packages
- Must have Trust and Business Account experience – this is none negotiable
DUTIES:
- Reconcile bank statements
- Daily cash flow
- Printing receipts and preparing documents
- Daily banking
- Petty cash and petty cash reconciliation
- Capturing Investec bank interest
- Capturing Sheriff’s return service
- Capturing drivers travel claims
- Filing of AJS postings, audit trails and retuned cheques
- Liaising with ABSA regarding bank queries of directors
- Assisting Auditors with queries
- EEA reporting (Annually)
The functions of this role will include but not limited to, the following:
- Preparation of EFT payments/transfers between accounts and loading thereof onto system for approval, Reconciling petty cash, General Ledger Accounting up until Trial Balance, Debtors and Creditors function, Assist Financial Bookkeeper with SARS E-filing for PAYE/UIF/SDL and VAT returns
- Maintaining Fixed Asset Register, Filing and date stamping of all purchases, receipts, and mail correspondence of all accounting related matters, Assist the Financial Bookkeeper in the preparation of designated schedules and Ad-hoc duties as required
HOURS:
- Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 16:30
