Responsibilities
Timesheets/Attendance records:
· Gathering and tracking timesheets and roll calls to calculate hours worked in order to make accurate payments
· Importing of hours from the time and attendance systems
· Capturing of leave and authorized overtime
· Calculation of all hours
· Compile the necessary spreads sheets
Leave management:
· Leave transactions, leave records, leave balances
· Records management:
· Electronic update of employee status changes and maintenance of employee files
Communication:
· Providing information and answering employee questions and queries on payroll-related matters
· Liaise with funds and third parties (MIBCO, Provident Fund, Medical Aid, SARS, Compensation Commissioner, Department of Employment and Labour
Sage 300 People Processing:
· Process employee engagements and terminations
· Trade Union subscriptions
· Printing and distribution of payslips
Required Skills
- Excel: 4 to 5 years
- Sage 300: 4 to 5 years
Candidate Requirements
- Grade 12
- Relevant post-matric qualification in payroll administration/human resources administration/finance
- Computer Literate in Advanced Excel and Sage People 300
- Previous working experience in Time and Attendance systems
- Solid experience working with SARS/ E-filing /tax certificates
- 5 years of working experience in payroll administration and SARS calculations
- Strong numerical skills
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
