Responsibilities

• Create design sketches and detailed plans using software like AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp.
• Gather and organize information from clients.
• Conduct site surveys and manage your team on-site.
• Develop design proposals that fit the client's needs and budget.
• Collaborate on design ideas with project leaders and teams.
• Make hand-drawn sketches and choose materials and colors.
• Prepare concept boards and final design images, using both hand-drawn and digital methods.
• Create technical drawings for projects, including details.
• Select finishes and soft materials.
• Oversee project completion and resolve any issues.
• Work within set budgets and timelines.
• Write summaries of project updates.
• Manage your projects and keep records of all communications.
• Attend meetings inside and outside the office.
• Travel for project-related tasks if needed.
• Present designs to clients.
• Maintain a professional appearance and dress code.
• Conduct all business interactions professionally.
• Handle general office tasks.
• Manage two teams and communicate with other departments.
• Hold team members accountable for their work.
• Promote open communication within the team.
• Regularly check the team's work for quality.
• Take initiative to improve processes and support the team.
• Market the business to potential clients whenever possible.
• Have your own transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Attend meetings regarding team member conduct.
