Our client, a progressive and fast paced chemical supply and distribution company, seeks to employ a well experienced Stock Controller, with strong SAGE software proficiency, to join this progressive and expanding professional team. Please note that this is NOT a management role but rather a role for a mid-career level Stock controller, who is experienced in a fast paced environment with high levels of safety due to chemicals and gasses being stored. In addition, you will be reside close to the Balito .

KEY REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION:

You will have Matric, coupled with a qualification in Logistics, Stock/Inventory Control or related, as well as 5+ years experience in Stock Control within a hazardous chemical or related environment, dealing with cylinders , bulk deliveries and fleet planning.
You MUST have solid experience using SAGE ERP, as well as knowledge of Excel spreadsheets used in stock control.
You will have a solid track record in keeping meticulous inventory records, ensuring that sufficient stock levels are maintained and liaise with the buyer to ensure suppliers are meeting the SLA requirements and orders.
You will conduct stock audits and investigate variances and discrepancies as well as ensure delivery notes are correct.
You must have a valid driver’s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
