Duration: 3 Month Contract

A company specializing in cash handling equipment and software solutions that cover coin and banknote counting and sorting machines, electronic drop safes for retail establishments, coin sorting and sachet equipment used by CIT companies, and automated pay point solutions, is looking for a dedicated and professional accountant to join their Team for a 3 months

Minimum Requirements:
Matric/Grade 12 certificate
A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience
Strong reconciliation experience, including bank, creditor, and intercompany reconciliations
Proven understanding of foreign creditors and forex transactions
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform detailed reconciliations of accounts, including bank statements and creditor accounts
Manage foreign creditors and bank reconciliation
Handle forex transactions, including the calculation of exchange rates and understanding their impact on financial statements
Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to, bank accounts and foreign creditors and forex transactions
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
