Role Overview
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving growth in the personal lines business by managing and converting company-provided leads into new business opportunities. This role focuses on client acquisition and account management, without cold calling, as all leads are supplied by the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Management: Engage with provided leads, build relationships, and assess their insurance needs to offer suitable solutions.
- Client Acquisition: Convert leads into new business by presenting personal insurance products tailored to client needs.
- Account Management: Build strong client relationships, ensuring smooth onboarding and satisfaction.
- Product Knowledge: Stay updated on insurance products and industry trends to provide expert advice.
- Sales Strategy: Work with the Sales Manager to implement strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Reporting: Track and report on sales activities and performance.
- Customer Service: Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure retention.

Candidate Requirements
Qualifications:
- Education: Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent.
- Certifications: Insurance-related certifications (e.g., NQF Level 4, RE5) are advantageous.
- Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills with a deep understanding of personal insurance products.
