We have a client with an amazing opportunity based in Cape Town, Western Cape.

Role: Civil or Mechanical Engineer (Water and Wastewater Pumping Stations)

Industry: Engineering Consulting

Level: Mid-Level

Key Requirements:

•           Minimum of a B Eng. / BSc (Civil or Mechanical Engineering) or BTech (Civil or Mechanical Engineering)

•           3 - 5 years’ experience in water and wastewater engineering, with specific experience in mechanical and electronic plant for pumping stations

•           Registered with ECSA as a Candidate

•           Experience in the treatment processes for water and wastewater is advantageous

•           Proficient in the specification and evaluation of mechanical and electronic plant associated with water and wastewater

•           Knowledge of relevant standards, regulations, and legislation in the water and wastewater sector

Personal Attributes:

•           Strong technical ability with a specialization in the water and wastewater sector

•           Accountability and ownership of tasks with a focus on delivering work within deadlines

•           Strong commercial and contractual awareness

•           Effective financial management of projects

•           Sound project management principles and execution skills

•           Good engineering judgment with leadership qualities

•           Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure
