Our client is looking for a Resident Engineer to oversee the construction of Bulk Infrastructure services, including bulk earthworks, water, sewer, roads, stormwater, and more. You’ll be working on behalf of the Engineer to ensure quality, accuracy, and adherence to project specifications. Core Purpose:

Manage and coordinate the construction of Bulk Infrastructure services while ensuring compliance with designs, specifications, and project quality standards. Administer contracts as per GCC 2015 and monitor contractor programs.

Key Performance Areas:

·        Full site management and project implementation.

·        Liaise between contractors and the Engineer’s design office, ensuring technical issues are resolved.

·        Set and monitor quality control standards and procedures.

·        Ensure all services are coordinated on-site to avoid clashes.

·        Handle site administration, including payment certificates, quality forms, and progress reports.

·        Evaluate and recommend contractor claims.

·        Conduct technical inspections and issue site instructions as needed.

·        Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

·        BTech, BEng, or BScEng in Civil Engineering or related built environment.

·        Professional registration (PrTechni, PrTech, PrEng, PrCPM) is an advantage.

·        10-15 years in site supervision, construction management, and contract administration.

·        Experience in bulk civil works (roads, stormwater, water, sewer).

·        Proficient in OH&S Act and environmental regulations.

·        Strong report writing and administrative skills.

·        Valid driver’s license and own transport.

·        Portfolio of 5+ completed projects in similar works.
